How Do I Book an Initial Session?

How Long are Sessions and How Often?
Therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes. However, the length of sessions may vary depending on the unique needs of each child and family. During the initial consultation, we will work together to determine the best course of treatment and session length for your child.
What is the Session Fee?

Initial Consultation - $150 / 50 min

Child Play Therapy or Individual Therapy - $150 / 50 min

Family Therapy Session - $190 / 60 min

This cost is in line with the British Columbia Association for Clinical Counsellors’ (BCACC) recommended fee structure.
How Do I Pay? What Are Your Payment and Cancellation Policies?

Payment is due at the time of the session. I, like many counsellors am not able to do direct billing, but I do issue a receipt upon payment that you can submit for reimbursement.

At this time, payment can be made using cash, eTransfer, or by Square as a last option (Square has transaction fees that reduce the amount received).

If you need to cancel an appointment, you must give 24 hours notice via text, email or through the OWL Client Booking Portal. Your full session fee will be charged for missed appointments or no-show cancellations with less than a 24 hour notice. If you are late for your scheduled session, your session will end at the time it was scheduled to end.

All session fees must be paid before any additional sessions will be held.
What if I have Extended Health Benefits?
As am a registered therapist, you may be eligible for insurance reimbursement. Please check your provider for more information.​
